Our commercial herd consists of 3 separate herds, each with their own separate pastures and barns. Two of those barns are large and contain 24 stalls each. The stalls are very beneficial for the does and their newborn kids. One herd consists of 100 does while the another consists of 50 does and the third 50 does.

Between the first frost in the late fall and the early spring,

the pasture grasses are nutrient-light. To ensure a strong and healthy herd year around, we increase our grain rations and feed high-quality hay during this time.
